Spicy chilli garlic noodles
If you, like me are one of those who enjoy making elaborate meals for other but wouldn’t bother as much if you had to make yourself some lunch, then lonely lunch times can be quite a challenge. Here is a quick recipe to fill your tummy at such times.
1 bowl boiled noodles, ½ sliced green pepper, 5 – 6 medium sized broccoli florets, ½ lengthwise sliced onion, 1 peeled and sliced carrot, 4 – 5 length wise sliced green beans, 1 ½ tablespoons chilli garlic sauce, ¼ tablespoon ginger powder, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, salt to taste and oil to cook
- Heat some oil in a pan and add the onions to it. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the pepper, carrots, green beans and broccoli and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the soy sauce, ginger powder, chilli garlic sauce and salt. Mix well. Cover the pan and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Add the noodles, mix well and cook for another 3 minutes. Serve hot.
